"The work comes from a variety of sources; the everyday jetsam & flotsam, tv, film, books and comics - the never ending churn of imagery that bombards our daily lives. I have a preoccupation with surface, layering and colour that ties in with past bodies of work. There’s a continuum on the theme of death, the fragility of life and the humour of it all." - MR
